
Breaking News: next generation of FlashFilterLab in alpha
The new version of FlashFilterLab was renamed to SourceBinder. This was already badly neccecarily, because this thing is far-far away from being only a filter compositing tool for flash. After it's first public presentation at the Flashconference in Stuttgart a closed alpha version was released. You can check it out and aply for alpha invitations at SourceBinder.org . Of course flashfilterlab will still be available, but after the final release of SourceBinder there will probably be no reason any more to use this instead of the new thing. And one more good news: we still keep the whole thing free for any kind of use.

Overview of FlashFilterLab
FlashFilterLab (FFL) a web-based visual application for easy creation, real-time tuning and sharing of complex Adobe Flash effects and movies. FFL extends the possibilities of Adobe Flash and provides a sound environment for beginners to advanced Flash users to fully leverage the full potential of Flash. Furthermore, the mostly cumbersome way of using, combining and tuning of Flash objects now becomes just as easy as a child’s play!
FFL is an intuitive visual programming environment – a kit of reusable components, Flash units and filters - that can be wired together to build so-called scenes. Those can comprise complex visual filters, effects and interactive Flash movies. Using FFL, you create graphical flowcharts to model real-time effects. Effects are built as a model of nodes. Those are the basic functional units of FFL. They have connectors in order to communicate with each other. To attain a contact between two nodes you just drag-and-drop a line between the desired connectors...
